After nearly 30 years, in corporate America, Barbara left a very successful career in communications to launch a new image and wardrobe consulting company focused on helping people look and feel their very best.

A true lover of fashion, Barbara takes great pride in having been named one of the XIX Most Fashionable Women in Philadelphia, and in having been a featured speaker and/or representative at events during Worth Chic Week, and during Fashion Week. She gains great satisfaction from assisting others with image and wardrobe consulting, mentoring and utilizing her extensive network and experience to empower others. All this combined with a strong business development track record, makes her well-positioned and equipped as she makes a successful transition to business owner.

A results-driven professional who places a strong value on people first, Barbara is proud of the impact she’s had on many lives and careers. As a result, she has received many awards and accolades including being named to MultiChannel News and CableFax’s Most Influential Minorities in Cable each year from 2007 through 2015. She was also named among the Most Powerful Women in Cable as a technology leader each year from 2012 through 2015.

Barbara began her career in sales at MCI, and went from there to Verizon (formerly Bell Atlantic), where she held various progressively senior positions in sales, marketing, product and brand management and advertising. From there, she went to Exelon (PECO Energy) where she served as manager, then Director of Network Sales for a newly created department. At Exelon, Barbara created a new telecommunications business sales unit that produced revenue in its first full year. She also managed the sales force integration of five newly-acquired companies.

In 2001, Barbara began working for Comcast Cable, as National Director of Alternative Sales Channels, where she developed the company’s third party sales strategy, defined success criteria, implemented the necessary models and operational processes and established sound business relationships with key companies that extended Comcast’s reach. Each progressively senior job Barbara held at Comcast was an entrepreneurial role where she took new ideas and potential business opportunities and grew them into successful revenue generating programs. In her most recent role as Vice President of Digital Sales Alliances for xfinity.com, Barbara developed and executed Comcast’s web sales fulfillment strategy, and identified and implemented new e-Commerce acquisition and retention opportunities for Comcast.

Barbara received both her Bachelors degree in Communications, and a Master of Public Administration degree from Pennsylvania State University, where she remains active. Committed to mentoring and giving back, Barbara also volunteers in her community. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and a previous member of the Board of Directors of the Emma Bowen Foundation, The Penn State World Campus Advisory Board, and the proud mother of two sons, both Nittany Lions as well, Kendall and Brendan.
